The Dutch government is offering tax reduction for company’s that develop buildings that comply to the BREEAM standard (or LEED or GPR).<\/p>\n

The (dutch) governmental environmental criteria for Tax Reduction is for download available here:\u00a0https:\/\/www.rvo.nl\/sites\/default\/files\/2017\/12\/Milieulijst%202018.pdf<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Search for the criteria\u00a0D 6115<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0E 6116\u00a0<\/strong>which are about BREEAM-NL criteria for newly constructed or large renovation building projects.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Code D: is category II \u201cmilieu-investeringsaftrek\u201d. 27% of the investment in construction of a building is eligible to use for tax reduction;<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Code E: is category III \u201cmilieu-investeringsaftrek\u201d. 13,5% of the investment in construction of a building is eligible to use for tax reduction;<\/p>\n

This program is VERY succesful in the Netherlands. Over the past 5 years, about 75% of Newly Constructed office GFA in the Netherlands is BREEAM certifified. This “milieu-inevseringsaftrek” is of great help for developers.<\/p>\n
