As part of the 6th Central Conference on Sustainable Construction, organized at the Sheraton Hotel in Zagreb, a Retrofit HUB workshop on the energy renovation of multi-residential buildings was held. The workshop was organized and led by the Croatian Green Building Council in collaboration with the Retrofit HUB project funded by the European Climate Initiative (EUKI).
Considering the conference’s reach of over 1,000 experts, the workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of energy renovation of multi-residential buildings and educate key stakeholders about the possibilities and procedures of energy renovation.
The workshop was led by a representative of the Croatian Green Building Council, and the experts who participated presented the latest trends in the energy renovation of multi-residential buildings, answered numerous participant questions, and shared their experiences with energy renovation of such buildings.
The workshop provided an opportunity for the exchange of experiences and information about the energy renovation of multi-residential buildings in Croatia. Participants emphasized that the energy renovation of multi-residential buildings is an important step in achieving the goals of energy transition in Croatia. The activities and education of all stakeholders involved in the renovation of multi-residential buildings were presented.
The workshop also introduced the Guide for the Energy Renovation of Multi-Residential Buildings, the main product of this project, which will serve as a set of guidelines for stakeholders in the renovation process, especially for representatives of co-owners and building managers.
