DGNB Academy
The Green Building Council Croatia has held the status of DGNB Academy Partner since 2016. In this capacity, it has the opportunity to meet the needs and educate local experts in the built environment about the criteria and assessment required to obtain the DGNB certificate. Croatia is currently in the process of adapting the certificate to its own market, and a version of the DGNB system prepared by the Green Building Council Croatia will soon be available.
The DGNB Academy regularly provides training through which professionals can become certified DGNB consultants.
GBC Croatia is currently conducting a DGNB Consultant training program, held in English over 5 days – more information’s soon.
It’s IMPORTANT to note that this training program is eligible for the Continuous Professional Development Program with 12 (twelve) hours.
The consultant certification enables professionals to collaborate with project teams and clients to consider and implement the necessary criteria for DGNB certification, which serves as a measure of sustainability.

DGNB Registered Professional
Every development related to sustainable construction must be based on equal knowledge: understanding the issues and topics relevant to sustainable construction. The DGNB Academy provides the starting point for sustainable construction topics with DGNB Registered Professional training.
DGNB Registered Professional education is designed for young professionals, students, and stakeholders in architecture, construction, real estate, and other professionals who want to gain knowledge about sustainable construction and planning.
Currently, there are no planned DGNB Registered Professional training sessions, and information about future training will be announced in the coming period.
DGNB Consultant
DGNB Consultant training is designed for key professionals in architecture, construction, and the real estate industry with prior professional experience. This training is based on the fundamental knowledge acquired through DGNB Registered Professional training.
DGNB consultants provide consulting services for DGNB certificates and precertificates for buildings and neighborhoods. After training, DGNB consultants collaborate closely with the project team and clients during the design and construction process to successfully meet all the requirements for achieving DGNB certification.
